I am Louise Youngman, Executive Director of People at Scope. I have created a new Head of Inclusion role in my team. This role will help us put equality, diversity and inclusion at the heart of everything we do. I am looking forward to bringing in and working with an experienced leader in this field.
I like to think we’re a welcoming team and we’re up for the changes we need to make. My own experience has been that Scope is a great place to work where you can make a real difference. The Head of Inclusion will co-produce Scope's new inclusion strategy.You will be passionate about Equality, Diversity and Inclusion. You will challenge us to make it the heart of everything we do and be ready to drive change.
You will have:
- lived experience of (the social model of) disability
- experience working with senior leaders
Your role will be to:
- build and develop a team to transform our understanding of inclusion and accessibility
- help us shape an inclusive workplace for all
- enhance our reputation as an employer of choice for disabled people
- know how to secure and spend the budgets it takes to achieve that
